On Death: Fear & Other Feelings
My Dad’s Healing and Passing
I lost my dad when I was young. He suffered from cancer and I prayed for him to be healed. While I prayed, he passed away. I eventually came to the understanding that only his physical body was lost: his formless, permanent self can never die.

Dealing with Anxiety & Depression
Attached to the Wound
If my depression is something triggered by a loss, then I allow myself to grieve. But if something else triggered my emotions and caused my depression, I do what I can to shift and transform them. If we make our place of depression a “dwelling,” then that’s a problem.

On Death: Fear & Other Feelings
A Place of Gratefulness
When you lose a loved one, you’re losing/grieving a daily life with that person – dealing with the separation is tremendously difficult. When I lost my dog, I knew that her “soul is around me,” and I focused on being grateful for the time I did have with her in my life.

Money, Society & Status
The Attainable List
When I was younger and broke, I made a list of what I’d love to have if I were wealthy, but I then realized that much of what I listed I could have right now.

Being Alone & Feeling Alone
Tap into creativity
I used to experience loneliness when my husband traveled. Since I’ve discovered my purpose and have focused on contributing, I’ve used my alone time to tap into my “creative force.”

Productivity
Recreating Tomorrow
I’m able to meet my goals by setting priorities for each day, the night before. I “rehearse” for tomorrow, vision the outcome that I want, and give myself a break if I don’t end up accomplishing every task I set for myself.

Money, Society & Status
Leading by Example
We tend to think that the more spiritual we become, the more we need to “move away” from concepts like status. However, achieving credibility and validity empowers you to lead, often by example, to empower others.

Loving Yourself
Distinguishing Essence from Ego
We often mistake our “true self” with the self that we constantly judge. We accept what people tell us about ourselves when we’re young, berate ourselves for everything we don’t know how to do, and often find it difficult to distinguish our ego from the permanent essence of who we are.

Finding & Fulfilling Our Purpose
Simplifying the Big Picture
I realized, after receiving the “prize of Catechism” at school, that I was naturally skilled at “simplifying” bigger-picture, mystical ideas relating to the universe so that people could understand them. As soon as this occurred to me, I sold my business and focused on honing this ability.

Finding & Fulfilling Our Purpose
What Comes with Ease
I realized that everything that happened to me in my life was meant to train me to contribute my life to a specific purpose. Our purpose is often what we’ve always been able to do easily – a talent we demonstrate early on in life that is apparent to everyone surrounding us.

The Game-Changers
The questions we address are fundamental. These topics shed “life” and understanding on the nature of our existence, and simply contemplating them can bring about great “transformations”.

The Pursuit of Happiness
Playing with What We Receive
Not everything in life is “easy or beautiful.” When we’re anchored in our “peace,” we can “play” with what life gives us and connect it to our passions and creativity.

Finding & Defining Love
A Thirst and Longing
It is rare to experience unconditional love, but we can experience it if we are truly able to forgive ourselves. And when people are nasty to us, they are simply “thirsting” for love.

The Role of Religion
Drawn to the Mysticism
I’m personally more drawn to the “mystical” parts of each religion – such as Kabbalah in Judaism – and I believe that religion is too often used to divide when it should unite.

Bonds, Breakups & the Essence of Relationships
Stand and speak your truth
A healthy relationship allows each partner to expand, while an unhealthy one is stifling. Each person needs to be able to stand tall, stand for themselves and be able to communicate their “truth” with the other.

Good, Evil & Drawing the Line
Existing for the Contrast
As human beings, we judge every experience we have as being “good” or “bad,” and the existence of the “shadow” in everything makes the “light” in everything apparent.

Dealing with Anxiety & Depression
A Different “Taste” to the Negative
Anxiety comes from visualizing a negative future outcome and we should change our visualization to the most positive possible outcome. However, when when events “not to our liking” occur, they come with a lesson. If we focus on the lesson, even the most negative crisis has a different “taste” to it.

Achieving Harmony & Balance
An Anchor in our Surroundings
I grew up in an environment filled with war and strife. But when I found my true self and was able to “anchor” myself in my identity, whatever was happening around me wasn’t affecting the essence of who I innately am. #harmony
