Hunter is a qualified independent teacher of Vedic Meditation based in New York City offering private instruction and monthly courses in NYC, California and abroad. He has personally taught hundreds of people Vedic Meditation worldwide and is committed to showing students how to blend ancient techniques into daily modern life. In addition to Vedic knowledge, Hunter brings years of experience as a mechanical engineer to the practice. Prior to teaching, he worked as a Product Development & Process Engineer for the jewelry enterprise David Yurman. Changing your language around intense emotions
Instead of taking on the emotion of depression or anger as an identity, we can exercise the ability to step back and watch the emotion moving through our body. We can begin by changing our language, for example, saying “I feel sadness running through my body” instead of “I am sad” allows us to acknowledge the emotion while not identifying with the it completely. #sadness #depression #language

After the breakup, we became close friends

When I felt depressed in the past, I found meditation to help most. It is self sufficient, so it doesn’t require you to be in a certain place or around certain people.
